FUNCTION AND LOCATION:

This position is located in the Nursing Administration Section of Samuel Mahelona Hospital (SMMH), Kauai Region. The Kauai Region is comprised of Kauai Veterans Memorial Hospital (KVMH), SMMH, and Kauai Region Clinics, which are part of the Hawaii Health Systems Corporation, a public benefit corporation of the State of Hawaii.

The primary responsibility of this position is to perform highly complex clerical work as directed by the manager. MINIMUM QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS

General Clerical Experience:

JOB FUNCTIONS: The Regional Revenue Cycle Officer (RRCO), is responsible for enhancing and maintaining a high functioning revenue cycle process that incorporates a cross-department organizational structure. The functional areas of Patient Access Services, Patient Financial Services, Utilization Review and Health Information Management act interdependently during a patient visit, contributing critical information required for clinical service and procuring payment. The RRCO is responsible for concentrating resources to improve core clinical care delivery and protect the assets of the Kaua’i Region.
